OBJECTIVE
ISO9001:2015 will be the next edition (the fifth edition) of the most famous Quality Management System standard and this will be the most significant change since year 2000. In this latest update, high level structure based on Annex SL had been introduced to standardize the framework of management systems.
Risk-based thinking had been introduce into this standard as a continual improvement taking into consideration current and future needs of the standard users. A more flexible documentation and performance based system being
introduced to fulfill the needs of interested parties. With such changes, a three years transition period will be given to existing standard users. This course will help the standard users to find out what you need to know about the new
ISO9001:2015 so that you can put the transition of your QMS accordingly.

METHODOLOGY
This course has a balance of lectures and workshops to assist attendees to interpret the Standard in practical situations together with question and answer sessions during which specific points of concern may be raised.

TRAINER’S PROFILE
Khoo Teck Sing ( Khoo) has been working in Technical Production and Quality field for more than 10 years. His Industrial experiences include electronic, plastic, rubber and metal product manufacturing for automotive, electronic appliances, construction, Medical Device and fire industry.
During his early years as an engineer, he is involved in problem solving for the factory production management. Then he is extensively involved in automotive industries ranging from research and development, project Management, costing, mass production and technical quality control. He had successfully completed a few local and oversea best selling car model such as GM, TOYOTA, HONDA, NISSAN, PROTON, PERODUA and INOKOM. As a Technical Manager managing products design and development and quality assurance department, he has been promoted to be the Business Development Manager managing
automotive and construction industry for the company. With the expose to business development environment, KHOO is exposed to product costing monitoring, pricing strategic and market development condition. This had equipped him with commercial experience supported by technical background. Besides his valuable commercial and technical experience, he has hands on experience in establishing, documenting, implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, QS 9000 and ISO /TS 16949. Currently KHOO is a full time QMS and Business Operational Improvement Consultant. He had assisted his client in establishing, documenting, implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, ISO /TS16949:2002, OSHA18001.
